There is a strong need for professional mediators who can solve disputes and lessen the load on the court dockets. However, mediation is an art in which the mediator needs to fine tune and sharpen his/her skills before one can be successful and of value to the disputing parties. At the Institute, you will sharpen your skills with the oversight of experienced mediators in mock mediation held in actual mediation rooms at the mediation center.
The National Institute for Mediation offers a variety of mediation training classes in Houston, TX, and around the country producing mediators who are equipped and ready to mediate and bring resolution to disputes in a variety of areas including everything from divorce to personal injury, including workplace conflict.
At the institute our students hone their skills and are provided with the experience and expertise needed to become a successful mediator. In Houston, our institute is in the beautiful Greenway Mediation Center where courses are taught by proficient and experienced mediators who have a combined experience of over 130 years in the industry.
Additionally, we offer professional mediation services, and can help our clients solve disputes in a variety of areas, including divorce cases, child custody modification, child support, insurance disputes and workplace incidents.
